1. Introduction
Buying a passe partout for The Spirit of Amsterdam Festival supports the organization and realization of this unique cultural event. Proceeds from sales go entirely to the creators and to provide free access to the vulnerable. With your purchase you contribute to the realization of a connecting and unique festival in the houses of worship of Amsterdam.
2. Passe Partout 2024

Proceeds: 100% to the creators and free admission for the vulnerable.

Admission: Access to all events during the three-day weekend of The Spirit of Amsterdam 2024.

Reminder: A beautiful silver necklace (limited edition) as a keepsake and admission ticket.

Exclusivity: Access to the exclusive opening event on November 21, 2024 at the Dominicus Church, where VIPs are vulnerable Amsterdammers.
3. Passe Partout for Life and After Life
-
Duration & Access: Lifetime access to all events of The Spirit of Amsterdam.

Transferability: Can be bequeathed to a loved one or someone of your choice. Transfer must be requested in writing to the organization at: info@thespiritof.amsterdam

Proceeds: 100% to programming and free admission for the vulnerable.

Reminder: A beautiful gold necklace (limited edition) as a memento and admission ticket.

Exclusivity: Access to the exclusive opening event on Nov. 21, 2024 at Dominican Church, where VIPs are vulnerable.
4. General Conditions of Sale Festival

Crowdfunding Support:
The purchase of a passe partout is part of a crowdfunding campaign and makes the festival possible.
Your contribution is essential to making the festival a reality and supporting the creators and vulnerable in society.
5. Purchase of passe partout and receipt of The Spirit necklace.

When purchasing a passe partout, the buyer receives a silver chain

with the purchase of a passe partout for life, the buyer receives a 14-carat gold chain
-
the necklace is not returnable or redeemable for cash
-
For damages or other defects, The Spirit of Amsterdam is not responsible and not liable.
6. Refund Terms
-
In case of cancellation of the festival due to severe weather, social threat, war or disease, there will be no refund.

Since this is a donation, in no case will the money be refunded. In case of a complete cancellation of the 2024 edition, the funds will be used for the 2025 edition.
7. Tickets

The silver and gold necklaces serve as tickets to the festival. For each event, the holder of a passe partout will always have to register first. Instructions for this will be shared in due course.

At the door, you may always be asked for proof of purchase for verification of entry.

The necklaces can only be used as tickets during the festival period.
8. Accessibility and Inclusiveness.

The festival ensures that as many venues as possible are accessible to people with different needs and disabilities. Check the website to see how this is arranged for each event.

Special provisions are made to facilitate the participation of vulnerable groups.
9. Environmental impact

In case of loss or theft of the chains, the owner should immediately report it to us at info@thespiritof.amsterdam

There will be a procedure for obtaining replacement tickets, if necessary.

The Passe Partout for Life and After Life can be transferred to a loved one or someone of your choice. This can be done once.

1. Applicability
These provisions apply to assignments in which The Spirit of Amsterdam performs work commissioned by external parties, such as governments, cultural institutions, funds or companies. They supplement the general terms and conditions of The Spirit of Amsterdam.
The provisions apply to, among others:

event development and execution
-
(co-)production of film, video or audio
-
concept development, editing and creation
-
consulting or development projects
2. Confirmation of order
Each order will be confirmed in writing by email or quotation. Verbal commitments or intentions are not binding.
3. Changes by client
Changes in content, schedule, location or assignment scope may have financial and/or production implications. These will be re-budgeted by mutual agreement.
Changes made less than 2 weeks before execution may result in additional costs, especially for already scheduled use of people, technology or location.
4. Authorship & creation
All creative proposals, concepts and developed formats remain the intellectual property of The Spirit unless otherwise agreed in writing. Reuse, adaptation or external exploitation is permitted only with written permission.
In joint development (co-creation), how rights and use will be divided upfront.
5. Development and consulting costs
In assignments with a development or consulting phase (e.g., concept development, research phase or editing) applies:

The hours and efforts in this phase are always billed, even if the project execution later fails.
-
Deployment of outside resources (such as writers, researchers or artists) is coordinated and recorded in a timely manner.
6. Client responsibilities
The principal is responsible for:

Providing timely content input and necessary contacts
-
communication with concerned speakers or institutions outside The Spirit
-
Assistance with permits, technical checks or site coordination (at events)
7. Cancellation by client
-
Cancellation up to 4 weeks before execution: 50% of the order value will be invoiced.
-
Cancellation within 4 weeks before execution: minimum 75%, depending on already incurred costs and obligations.
-
For development and consulting projects, hours already incurred or external costs will always be charged.
8. Use of materials (image, text, sound).
If (photo) video, audio or text is produced during an assignment, rights and use will be coordinated on a project-by-project basis.
The Spirit retains the right to non-exclusive use of its own work for promotional purposes.
Clients may use material for agreed-upon purposes; other uses require permission.
9. Liability
The Spirit shall be liable for damages demonstrably resulting from intent or gross negligence, up to the amount of the assignment.
Indirect, consequential or third party damages are excluded from this liability.
10. Cooperation with third parties
If outside parties are involved through the client (think technology, venue, media), The Spirit is not responsible for their contractual obligations or performance.
However, we do carefully coordinate scheduling and execution, by mutual agreement.
11. Other provisions
The Spirit is insured for business liability.
E-invoicing is possible; payment terms are 30 days, unless otherwise agreed upon.
Quotes are valid for 90 days from date, unless otherwise agreed upon.
