The Pharaoh in the Polder

TheaterStorytelling

Mounir Samuel brings us together, even when it is uncomfortable and uncomfortable.

Step into an immersive experience with the interactive theatrical performance that tells the story of Joseph/Yousef and his cloak. Joseph was the outcast, enslaved and condemned Hebrew who eventually made it from prison to become Viceroy of Egypt. He saved not only his own life but also that of the country and the region during a great climatic disaster.

Through storytelling, photography, film and sound, Mounir Samuel takes attendees from the North Sea to the Nile. He tells this famous story, which can be found in the Bible, the Koran and even in ancient Egyptian sources. The mix of art forms brings it to life in a way you've never experienced before.

Mounir shows us the granaries and water basins used by Joseph that he himself visited in Egypt. During this journey, he will explore with the audience. What are the pharaoh's contemporary nightmares? How do we translate the so-called "seven lean cows" to our modern times and the challenges we face today? And what sacrifices are needed now to protect our world?

Don't miss this opportunity to learn about a story that is still relevant today in an interactive and inspiring way.
