Let Love Rule

Ceremony

Wedding marathon for couples who cannot or should not marry.

At the Protestant Diaconate's Corvershof, six couples who would not normally be able to seal their love due to circumstances such as homelessness, poverty or undocumented status will receive a fully catered wedding day. Think clothing, a fun photo shoot, a beautiful cake, and even a wedding night. Each couple may invite as many as 50 guests to celebrate this special day together. This will be a heartwarming ceremony. Tissues at the ready!

For many people in the Netherlands, a wedding is not a matter of course, like the infatuated Ton and Gesina (photo). And getting married around the world is often not a free choice at all. Therefore, Let Love Rule not only wants to organize an unforgettable celebration of love, but also create awareness. Love should not be a luxury, but something accessible to everyone, regardless of background or situation.

Would you like to be a part of this? Cheer on the couple or shed a tear out of emotion! You can if you contribute.

Do you know a couple who deserves a wedding? Or would you like to make a contribution?
