Using bamboo and kite paper to create works of light art - Small birds to honor those you miss or want to honor.
Please note there are two rounds. One at 15:00 and one at 16:00.
That's the afternoon program in the impressive Noorderkerk in the middle of the center of Amsterdam. Above the church already floats a mighty lightwork of a bird, in the workshops you add your own birds to it. A meditative work, in which you create a work of art to be proud of under the guidance of lightwork artist Jurrian van den Haak. Jurrian is known for the beautiful light artworks at the Sint Maartens Parade in Utrecht, which he created together with visitors. Your light artwork will be hung in the church with all the other birds, creating a swarm of tributes. Who do you want to dwell on? Make a bird for your grandmother, perhaps she is floating somewhere between heaven and earth, or for a loved one you miss. Make a bird for your great role model or a teacher to whom you have been immeasurably indebted.
Share stories while creating with other creators and participate in the swarm.
