The Walloon Church

The Waalse Kerk is a church located on the southern part of the Oudezijds Achterburgwal in Amsterdam. The church was also formerly called the French Church, Walenkerk, Oude Walenkerk or Oude Waalse Kerk. Every Sunday at 11 a.m. a church service in French is held here. Concerts and music recordings also take place here; the church is known for its very good acoustics.
