The Dominicus is an inconspicuous church building from the outside at the beginning of Amsterdam's Spuistraat. But when you walk inside, you are impressed by the large neo-Gothic space, designed by Pierre Cuypers (Central Station, Rijksmuseum). The church is owned by the thriving independent and rather liberal Dominican community, which celebrates there every Sunday at 11am. The space is also often rented out for concerts.
