The Nassaukerk is a 1926 Protestant church building on De Wittenkade in the Staatsliedenbuurt neighborhood in Amsterdam-West.
The Nassaukerk is more of a movement than an institution. An open, lively, welcoming and neighborhood-oriented faith community. A place of encounter for people regardless of their education, age, skin color, sexual orientation, vitality or where their cradle was. A group of people with the conviction that biblical stories teach us to look beyond the delusion of the day, to question self-evidences and dare to be unsettled by difficult questions. Key concepts for us are: interconnectedness, attention for the vulnerable in people, development of everyone's talents and a sense for art and imagination.
