The Thomas Church on Prinses Irenestraat in Amsterdam-Zuid was built in 1966 and is owned by the Protestant Church Amsterdam (PKN). From 1955 there were plans for a Reformed church in Nieuw-Zuid. Because the original building plans changed, the church ended up somewhat on the edge of the residential area instead of on a through road. Nowadays it is located against the Zuidas.
